Team Mentors
Gerardo Carmona, Mechatronic Engineer. Gerardo is in charge of the mechanical and programming aspects of the team. He was a mentor in 2012 for FRC Team 4403. Gerardo enjoys robotics and he is passionate about Arduino. He enjoys investigating and learning new things. In his free time he enjoys robotics, reading, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Armando Roman. He is the director of Mechatronic Engineering at ITESM Campus Guadalajara. He enjoys cycling, playing sports, and building electric cars and ATVs in his free time. As a team mentor, he is in charge of logistics, helping us to get established in the Tec, helping us have financial and travel support.
Rachel Winchel, Business and Social Media.
Rachel works with the business and social media teams. She is passionate about technology, specifically how technology can help students, who don't speak English as a first language, become more fluent faster. In her free time she enjoys playing with her cat Hercules and dog Sunny, cycling, and reading extremely long novels.
Salvador Ibarra Gonzales, Mechatronic Engineer. Salvador is a mentor in charge of teaching us how building parts for the robot. He helps us cuts parts and makes pieces for the robot in the Centro Diseño Avanzado. In his freetime, he enjoys spending time with his friends.
